I am absolutley sick

I made a quick trip to my local Associated Foods store today to grad a few things I needed for dinner. I hate running to grab a few things, but I had forgotten to put them on my list last week. I assure you that this will never happen again. I am totally outraged at what I paid for these few items today. What I got:

2 Taco seasoning

2 Pkgs gravy

9 WF String Cheese

1 can WF evaporated milk

4.99lbs boneless skinless chicken breast

I am so ashamed to even tell you the total, well I spent $33.17 however it did say on the bottom of my receipt that I saved $1.69 in promotions LOL

I was noticing I had alot of coupons that were about to expire (tomorrow), all item that I use all the time. So I decide I would take a trip to Wal Mart instead of letting them go to waste. This is what I got:

Finally!!

I was finally able to get my Mcormic seasonings that were on sale a few weeks ago. I had to track down the stock boy and help him dig through his totes to find it, but it was worth it! I got 8 bottles of seasoning and two packs of gum.

Not so good Rite Aid trip

So my friend Amber went to Rite Aid to get her FREE Purex laundry soap and was tured down. Rite Aid has their Laundry soap on sale for B1G1F so she took her B1G1F coupon and was GOING to get 4 bottles. She was denied!! Rite Aid will not accept IP coupons for more than $5. Well her coupon was for up to $7. Anyway to make a long story short, they wanted to charge her $8 for the 4 bottles to make up the difference in the coupon. Needless to say she walked out of Rite Aid empty handed. Sorry Amber :(
